I've boiled many an egg in preparation for Easter egg dyeing. Recently, my mother-in-law gave me the easiest, most fuel efficient method to the perfect boiled egg. It's my favorite!
PERFECT HARD COOKED EGGS
Place eggs in pan and cover with cold water. Bring to a boil and turn off heat. Put lid on pot and let sit for 15 minutes. Place eggs immediately in ice water bath. Prevents green around yolk. When I use this method the eggs are always super easy to peel too.
Wouldn't any bunny get excited about this (okay, maybe the cabbage doesn't look too tasty)?
